You Survived Week One!

It’s November 8th, our 8th day of writing, and we’re so happy that so many people have shown up to write!

People:

• Showed up at midnight on Nov 1, eager to get words to the page

• Raced trains into Chicago, typing as we went

• Showered loved on our library partners by showing up to the 5 in-person write-ins so far this month

• Ran soooo many sprints in our Discord server

• Have published their short stories on Substack (looking at you

  )

Collectively, our writers have written 200K plus words in a week. Our editors have spent 174 hours perfecting their drafts.

We’ve all made progress toward our goals, big or small, and I feel like the writing momentum is still building as we head into the second weekend of Novel Quest with three separate write-ins planned for Sat and Sunday. (If you haven’t subscribed to this substack yet, please do for Zoom links!)
